Woven North is built on a lived reality: Indigenous relations and allyship aren't a theory—they are our daily operation.

Founded through a deliberate partnership between Indigenous and ally professionals, we understand the operational, social, and logistical nuances of cross-cultural work because we implement them ourselves every day.

Across the corporate landscape, we repeatedly saw organizations complete meaningful awareness training, draft high-level strategies, and commit to community engagement—only to return to their desks asking the same question:

"What now?"

Julietta Sorensen Kass

CEO & Principal Consultant

Julietta Sorensen Kass is the CEO and Principal Consultant of Woven North and a citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation. Based in Mohkinstsis (Calgary), she combines a grounded Métis perspective with technical rigour to guide teams toward shared agency.

With a master’s degree in resource and environmental management and a background in environmental consulting, Julietta’s focus is on practical implementation. She turns high-level strategies into manageable tasks and sustainable processes. By building solid foundations within organizations, Julietta enables teams to build internal capability, maintain momentum, and shape real-world change.

Partner & Strategic Advisor

Danielle Hartley is Partner and Strategic Advisor of Woven North. Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she has spent close to 20 years helping organizations build respectful, meaningful, and lasting relationships with Indigenous communities across Canada.

With a background in communications and Indigenous relations, Danielle works with organizations to develop practical strategies that strengthen partnerships, build internal capacity, and create long-term value. Her approach is grounded in trust, collaboration, and accountability, helping clients navigate complex projects with confidence while creating outcomes that benefit both communities and industry.
